The test team from New Zealand leaves for Pakistan
New Zealand's Test-bound players for Pakistan departed for the nation on Wednesday in preparation for the historic Test series, which will begin on December 26 at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi. The New Zealand Test team, according to the information, departed from Auckland Airport and will first travel to Dubai before arriving in Karachi at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
From December 26 to January 14, the visiting team will play two tests and a three-match ODI series. The first Test and ODI series will be played in Karachi, and the second Test will be played in Multan. After Kane Williamson resigned from the job last week, veteran pacer Tim Southee will captain the touring side in the longest format.
It is important to note that the Blackcaps decided to cancel their planned trip to Pakistan just before the first One-Day International began in Rawalpindi on September 17, 2021, citing security concerns.
