IMRAN KHAN SAYS "ONE MAN" IS BEHIND PTI POLITICS RESOLUTIONS

IMRAN KHAN SAYS "ONE MAN" IS BEHIND PTI POLITICS RESOLUTIONS

Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, blamed "one individual" for the overthrow of his government and said, "one man" was still driving attempts to stop party politics, according to ARY News on Thursday. The protesters had assembled outside the Punjab Governor House in Lahore to "block" Governor Baligh ur Rehman from taking any "unconstitutional" action when the former premier addressed them.

Imran Khan claimed that one man's desire to collapse his administration was the cause of the nation's political and economic issues without mentioning any specific individuals. He criticized the "one man" for the "atrocities" PTI and its members had to endure and questioned what was to blame. Just the fact that we refused to join the band of crooks you forced upon us?

The PTI Chief emphasized that when his party was defeated, the entire country turned out. He continued, "It was sending a message that the imported government was unacceptable. Imran Khan asserted that the actions taken to stop PTI's politics were still being carried out by the "one man." He questioned what more would be done to force the country to accept the imported administration, saying, "When they saw that nothing was working well, they decided to kill me and remove me from the way."

As part of his criticism of the practice of releasing "films and audios" on social media, he said that his party was being used as leverage to extract money.

The motion of no confidence

Imran Khan berated the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for submitting a no-confidence vote against Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi at the commencement of his speech. The PDMs, he observed, were attempting to prevent him from exercising his "constitutional prerogative" to dissolve provincial assemblies. "The PML-N first demanded that we disband the assemblies. But now that we've done that, resolutions to vote for confidence and against trust have been brought before the Punjab Assembly," he remarked.

The former prime minister made it clear that he wants to dissolve the provincial assemblies because they believe that the country will fall out of our control if immediate elections are not held.

Punjab Conflict

After the Centre and the state clashed over the no-trust vote against Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi, PA speaker, and deputy speaker, the political crisis in Punjab worsened. After the governor and PA speaker disagreed on today's no-trust vote and call for a special session to vote on confidence, the crisis grew worse.

The secretariat of the province assembly received a no-trust resolution against the chief minister, speaker, and deputy speaker of Punjab from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP). PML-N leader Khawaja Imran Nazir acknowledged the development in an interview with ARY News. He asserted that the opposition parties would provide the Punjabi people with a pleasant surprise.

Imran Khan will call off the meeting

Imran Khan had already declared that the assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would be dissolved on December 23. The former prime minister made the announcement while giving a speech to the country alongside the chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervaiz Elahi, and Mahmood Khan, respectively.

Imran Khan praised the two provincial heads for their cooperation with his party and said he had discussed the decision with PTI's attorneys, adding that the Constitution forbade elections from being postponed for more than 90 days following the dissolution of an assembly.
