In addition to 4,000 employees, the General Presidency has hired more than 200 supervisors and observers. To deal with the rain issue, more than 500 pieces of equipment have been used. The Grand Mosque is home to numerous government organisations that cooperate with one another. Authorities are to "exert greatest efforts and use all possible means and capabilities to protect the safety of worshippers and pilgrims," Sheikh Al-Sudais further instructed in his orders.
