Salman Khan is one of the most charismatic, flamboyant, and financially successful performers in Hindi films. The superstar has a big fan base not only in India but throughout the entire world, and the many are a perfect reflection of his fame. Khan is the oldest child of scriptwriter Salim Khan and Sushila Charak, who was his first wife (who later adopted the name, Salma Khan).

 

Salman Khan's paternal ancestors came to Indore, Madhya Pradesh, in the middle of the 19th century. They were Alakozai Pashtuns from the Swat region in modern-day Pakistan. Abdul Rashid Khan, his grandfather, was a deputy inspector general of the Indore state and a recipient of the Holkar era Diler Jung award. Khan's mother is a Maharashtrian; her father, Jammu-Kashmir-born Dogra Rajput Baldev Singh Charak, and her mother are both from Maharashtra. Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan are his two brothers. Alvira Khan Agnihotri, the wife of actor/director Atul Agnihotri, and Arpita are his two sisters.

 

Bollywood Both Salman the actor and his younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail completed their educations at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. He previously spent a few years in school at The Scindia School in Gwalior alongside his younger brother Arbaaz. He enrolled in Mumbai's St. Xavier's College but left early. medals and commendations were given to him.
