PTI MNAS WILL CONFER WITH NA SPEAKER TODAY TO VERIFY RESIGNATIONS.

In Islamabad. On Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs were individually called before National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to confirm their pending resignations, which they had submitted in opposition to the removal of Imran Khan as prime minister by a no-trust motion.
The NA spokeswoman shared a photo of the NA speaker on Twitter and wrote, "Today a telephone call was held between Raja Pervaiz and ex-PTI chief whip Malik Amir Dogar."

The NA speaker informed Mr. Amir that he and the deputy speaker were waiting for PTI parliamentarians to discuss the resignation problem. He stated that following the discussions between the two parties, it was determined that PTI lawmakers would meet the speaker in his chamber at 11:30 on Thursday.

According to the spokeswoman, the speaker asked all parties to participate in the parliament for the benefit and welfare of the nation. A PTI group sought to meet with Raja Pervaiz Ashraf earlier on December 27 to discuss the resignation issue, according to a phone conversation from Amir Dogar.

According to the statement, the speaker invited them to meet with him or her and declared that in a parliamentary democracy, the dialogue was the only way to find a solution. However, he clarified that individual meetings would still be required to verify their resignation.

The NA speaker accepted the resignations of 11 PTI MNAs on July 28. Using the authority granted by Clause (1) of Article 64 of the Pakistani Constitution, the Speaker accepted the resignation. Shireen Mazari, Ali Muhammad Khan, Fazl Muhammad Khan, Shaukat Khan, Fakhar Zaman Khan, Farrukh Habib, Ijaz Shah, Akram Cheema, Jamil Ahmad Khan, Shandana Gulzar, and Abdul Shakoor Shaad all had their resignations accepted.
